Good things happen
one step at a time.
A word ladder is a simple idea with a wonderfully twisty middle. Change a single letter, make a real word, and find a path from where you are to where you want to be.
Here, every path leads to FEET. Some days you'll see it straight away. Other days, a small detour is part of the fun.
Find your footingChange the S to an F.
Then the D to a T.
And you're on your feet.

How do I play Feetle Game?
Start with the word on the board and change one letter at a time until you reach FEET. Every step must be a real four-letter word in our dictionary. Type your next word and press Enter. The fewer steps, the better.
When does the daily ladder change?
A new ladder arrives at 08:00 UTC every day. Everyone gets the same starting word, wherever they play. The countdown under the keyboard shows how long is left.
What does par mean?
Par is the fewest possible one-letter changes from the starting word to FEET, using this game’s dictionary. The starting word is not a step. Finish in par for zero extra steps; longer valid routes still count as a win.
Can I play more than once a day?
Yes. Unlimited mode gives you a fresh random ladder whenever you want. It uses the same rules and dictionary, but practice games do not change your daily streak or statistics.
Where are my progress and statistics saved?
They stay in local storage in this browser, on this device. There is no account and no result upload. Clearing site data, switching browsers or using a different device means starting with separate records.
